Ultrasound

Ultrasound imaging, also called sonography, uses high-frequency sound waves to produce pictures of the inside of the body.

Ultrasound images are captured in real-time and can show the structure and movement of the body’s internal organs, as well as blood flowing through blood vessels.

The NWH Radiology Department provides sophisticated ultrasound services for patients in Mt. Kisco and Yorktown and surrounding areas in New York and Connecticut.

This sophisticated technology is also available at our Yorktown facility:  914.245.5200
